Sixafire has a flashy 2010 filly named "Ruby." On her mom's side she has champion halter bloodlines; on her sire's side she has champion racing bloodlines. She has two white stockings and a white sock and blaze.
Southwest Racing upgraded our capabilities in Summer 2009, by moving to a better-equipped farm, off Hwy 7 near Minnetrista. As you can see from the photos, we haven't sacrificed our #1 priority: greenery-- otherwise known as "Doctor Green."
We are only 2 miles on a gravel road from the LUCE LINE trail system. Boarders don't have to ride to the Luce Line, though: we offer a bridge, small creek, and riding track right on the property. This makes Southwest Racing a dream come true for cross-country eventers and trail riding families.
Our old location in Carver had only a small barn with a few box stalls, and sheds. The new facility sports extra-large, draft horse size box stalls with a wide center aisle, foaling facilities, multiple tack rooms and rodent-free, even climate-controlled warehouse space. Layout is much improved (we now have the space to expand further over time); we now have private pens and sheds galore, and vinyl, wood and electric fencing that's much more secure.

Expansive kennels also came with the property. New boarders have the option of keeping a bunch of foxhounds on the place, to train along with their horse on the cross country course and nearby Luce Line!
