Linda Richmond
Professional Trainer
Since 1995
Linda Richmond has been training professionally since 1995 and riding since she was four years old. She grew up on a cattle ranch in Linvingston, Montana.
Linda holds a Bachelors degree in Soil Science with a minor in Native American Studies from Montana State University. She pursued her degree, working for the Soil Conservation Service for seven years.
During this time, Linda was training on the side but in 1995 decided to train fulltime.
While Linda has trained countless "colts" and "problem horses," her main interests were always competitive barrel racing and reining.

Linda is comfortable working with stallions (like the one shown here), and has trained countless colts and stallions throughout her career. She has professionally competed three stallions prior to her current race-bred sporthorse stallion Six Afire, whom Linda believes is the most talented of the entire group.

One of her greatest joys is to also help the people who are riding the barrel horses! Lessons, mini-clinics and "coaching" are Linda's specialities-- as well as root-cause problem-solving and strategizing for horse and rider.

Linda has participated in numerous reining, working cow horse and barrel racing clinics, and given barrel racing clinics herself. She has ridden with noted reining trainers over the years, and frequently sought their advice.

Linda is always accepting new clients. The best way to reach her is an old-fashioned phone call! Please give Linda a ring any time between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. (number at the top of this website)-- she'd be happy to talk with you about the goals you have for your horse!
